Winter School on Sustainable Habitat | VNIT and Dept. of Science and Technology, Gov. of India

Udeet Methala, Director, Building Energy India was selected to train for 6 days at the winter school on Sustainable Habitat.

The training was conducted from 7th to 12th of January, 2019 under the Human Capacity Building Programme of CCP-SPLICE Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India.

A series of such trainings are being conducted under various major aspects of Sustainable Habitats in India.

Titled Capacity Building for Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation with a special focus on Sustainable Habitat and Risk Management, the training was organised at the Seminar Hall in the Department of Applied Mechanics at Visveswarya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur.

The residential 6 day intensive course ensured that participants engaged deeply with the subject topics and developed a network among themselves as well. This network encompassed academicians, practitioners, and government from all parts of the country, making it an all-round training.
